Driver Coordinator - TX

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Driver Coordinator to lead and support our team of professional drivers. This role combines scheduling and coordination duties with the flexibility to serve as a backup driver when needed. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules and routes for van drivers
• Act as backup driver in case of absences or emergencies
• Monitor and support drivers throughout their shifts
• Conduct regular check-ins to ensure safety and performance
• Maintain communication with dispatch and operations team
• Ensure vans are clean, fueled, and ready for use
• Assist with onboarding and training of new drivers
• Provide excellent customer service when driving

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage schedules and solve problems under pressure
• Clean driving record and criminal background check
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening
• Willingness to step in and drive as needed

Education & Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - required
• Previous experience as a driver and/or team lead in transportation
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
