Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Senior Customer Finance Manager works closely with the Capital Sales team to provide customer finance solutions, customer consultation, coaching on selling financially, strategic territory planning and system acceleration programs to build the internal business directive of da Vinci system placements. This position helps the commercial organization by providing customer facing financial solutions (programs/customized quotes), designed with the capital and clinical teams to meet the needs of customers.
This position also acts as an advisor to the Capital Director and VP teams to build solutions to expand the pipeline and meet organizational goals. This position helps projects with cross-functional departments to implement back-office help for our customized solutions. This customer centric and entrepreneurial role specializes in stabilizing both technical and soft financial selling skills with the demand of growing a successful team-based asset portfolio.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a consultant for the Capital Sales organization to develop a strategic plan for customers and accelerate the adoption of da Vinci system expansion through flexible financial offerings
- Serve as the primary contact for customer facing financial solutions that may include but are not limited to; FMV leasing, Accelerated MIS Program, fixed purchase option leases, IASB/FASB compliant lease structures, short term and long-term rentals, deferred payment leases and or customized finance programs.
- Participate and drive customer meetings with financial decision-makers within hospital leadership
- Drive customer finance training programs that expand the knowledge base of the commercial team on how to sell financing as part of the system selling process
- Attend business alignment meetings with financial decision-makers of our customers to review program progress and look for opportunities to expand system access
- Manage a market portfolio and help cross-functional management of the asset pool
- Assist customer finance presentations for market development events and or executive sessions
- Provide coaching, influence and education to the leadership team on the variety of financial programs and processes
- Work with internal corporate finance roles to deploy scalable processes
- Act as an agent of change regarding building the commercial finance business
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant capital leasing work experience.
- Ability to assist with and prioritize multiple transactions concurrently. Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
- Experience in driving growth of business unit through self-directed development activities.
- Significant experience is a customer-support role.
- Proven success in mid-sized international fast-growing company and/or in the medical or med-tech environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with executive leadership.
- Highly curious and exceptional problem-solving ability.
- Willing and able to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time.
