  • Salary range of $27 - $32 / hour - please note that this is an estimate and the actual salary will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and professional certifications 

This part-time role (approximately 20-30 hours per week) offers a flexible schedule between 6:30 am - 5:00 pm.  The position provides essential support to the HR department by handling employee inquiries, administrative tasks, and leave management.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and updating HR systems.
  • Manage and track employee leave requests, including FMLA, disability, and New York Paid Family Leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate documentation and communication between employees, managers, and third-party administrators for leave programs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all HR processes.
  • Perform any tasks associated with administering HR programs and initiatives including coordination of recognition, celebrations, employee events and community giving 
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement in HR i.e. standard work and digital initiatives
  • Coordinate interview scheduling
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, preferred
  • Knowledge of FMLA, disability, and NY Paid Family Leave regulations
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Detail-oriented and proactive
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and Outlook
