WBG Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

ADI’s Advanced Technology Group has an opening for a reliability engineer working on Wide-Band-Gap Semiconductors (WBG).

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced reliability engineer to join our team. The job responsibility will be to ensure the reliability of RF and Power wide band gap semiconductors products. The candidate will work with a broad range of people across the company, including the design, process, and test teams to develop and implement reliability tests, analyze data, and provide feedback to enable the development of reliable WBG semiconductor products. The candidate will design and implement WBG reliability test systems.  The candidate will participate in with university programs and reliability standardization efforts related to Wide Band Gap Semiconductors.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science is required.  A Master’s or Ph.D. Degree is preferred. Experience with Wide-Band-Gap semiconductor reliability test development, an in-depth knowledge of GaN and SiC device operation and fabrication technology, and deep understanding Wide-Band-Gap device failure mechanisms is desired.  Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
