About the role
<p></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you will do</span></b><br/>Reporting to Global Creative’s Head of Design, you will lead creative projects and help shape the visual direction of campaigns and assets. You’ll balance hands-on design with strategic thinking, mentoring others and pushing the creative standard forward in Johnson Controls.</p><p></p><p><b>How you will do it</b></p><ul><li>Lead concept development and visual execution for high-impact campaigns.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into compelling design.</li><li>Provide design direction and feedback to junior and middleweight designers.</li><li>Champion brand consistency while exploring new creative possibilities within guidelines.</li><li>Present design rationale to marketing and brand partners.</li><li>Stay informed on industry trends and bring fresh thinking to the team.</li><li>Champion resource planning and project prioritization in Wrike.</li><li>Ability to think strategically and act tactically in order to align Global Creative’s content services with customer needs.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we look for:</b></p><ul><li>6+ years of design experience, ideally in an in-house or agency setting.</li><li>Proven ability to lead projects and mentor others.</li><li>Strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills.</li><li>Ability to handle many issues, items and functions at one time and deal rapidly with multiple items in prioritized sequence; flexibility and adaptability are strengths of yours. </li><li><span>Demonstrated analytical and strategic approach to problem solving.</span></li><li><span>Tact, diplomacy and clearness in written and spoken communication – our colleagues are our partners.</span></li><li>Confident communicator and collaborator.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li><span>The ability to </span>excel working in a virtual or hybrid, high-growth, matrix-managed, geographically dispersed organization.</li><li>Ability to work with ambiguity – strength in balancing strategic and tactical execution.</li><li>Values diversity when leading projects.<br/> </li></ul><p><b><span>Preferred:</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in graphic or communication design, digital media, visual communication or related field (MA a plus).</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
