Security Officer - Driver Patrol Access Control

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Control in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will drive throughout the community, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control needs, interact with residents and guests, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and community rules compliance, communicating with residents, guests, and/or vendors in a professional manner while supporting property staff with security-related concerns.
• Assist with security-related reports, incident documentation, and follow-up communication regarding disturbances, property-related issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
