The Applied Biological Sciences program at Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus is growing rapidly and attracting exceptional pre-dental students who are eager for an applied, community-engaged science education. To support this momentum, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in the School of Applied Sciences and Arts within the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor in Applied Biological Sciences with a focus on pre-dental science or related fields. This role is ideal for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about student success and excited to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary faculty team to help us continue delivering an outstanding applied learning experience through in-person and online formats.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-eligible Clinical Assistant Professor position on a renewable, academic-year (9-month) appointment, contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The full-time teaching load consists of four (4) courses per semester, which may include a combination of lecture and laboratory courses delivered in either in-person or online formats. Candidate must reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate. The position is 80% teaching and 20% service, with an expected start date of August 2026.

The School of Applied Sciences and Arts in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University delivers applied sciences and liberal arts courses to students from all majors at the Polytechnic and Downtown Phoenix campuses. The School of Applied Sciences and Arts leads ASU's Writers' Studio, which provides first-year composition courses to all ASU Online students. The OVMAE is committed to the robust support of veteran, military-affiliated and dependent students. The school is also home to the Latinx Oral History Lab, which offers undergraduate research and storytelling opportunities.
