At our Wilson, North Carolina site, we are committed to saving lives as an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of fire protection systems for commercial and military aircraft and ground vehicles.
We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our Manufacturing Engineering Team for the summer. Apply and join our team today.
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to ongoing manufacturing engineering projects include process design and improvement, equipment selection and layout optimization.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation of new and current processes including standard operating procedures, process and equipment specifications and work instructions.
- Support data collection efforts, including gathering, organizing and analyzing of data to monitor production metrics and identify trends or issues.
- Help prepare reports and presentations on project status, findings and recommendations.
- Assist in troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and developing solutions to improve overall production performance.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advance degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Self-starter with strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in SolidWorks or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
