Production Planner

As a Production Planner you will take the responsibility as a Planner for Product Families.

 

How can you become part of our success? 

 

• Updating short&middle term plans each week according to orders from customers EDI
• Daily update of critical parts with supply team
• Daily check of accuracy planning and taking actions
• Maintain internal buffers and finished good levels among the set safety stocks
• Being the link between all areas involved for the production ( Production, Maintenance,
• Industrialization
• Avoid backlog with customer
• Ensure quality of data and information in each case
• Prepare and participate weekly production planning meeting (cross functional)
• Weekly rolling update of production plan for each product group and communicate
• Run MRP simulation and deal with critical parts ( communication)
• Run final MRP and ensure communication of results and actions to the suppliers
• Reflecting the compliance to the defined production planning to reality regularly
• Check current buffer levels vs planned levels and define actions if needed
• Identify internal process weaknesses
• Countermeasure internal weaknesses
• Attend work on time every day and achieve maximum attendance
• Maintain health and wellness, reporting as early as possible any need for not attending
• Look for gaps in team skills, train team members in areas required and develop cross training

 

What skills do you need? 

 

• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical capability
• Ability to translate the message of figures to the language of the functions and levels in the organization
• Proactive mindset
• Good organizational skills
• Good knowledge of Expertis /SAP
• At least 3 years experience in similar positions
• Strong logistic background with knowledge in Production Planning
