THE JOB:
As our Executive Steward, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the Stewarding department while ensuring compliance with our industry-leading policies and practices. You will guide a committed team to uphold the highest standards of service and cleanliness throughout our property.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee daily operations in the stewarding department to ensure departmental strategic goals and intent are being met and exceeding expectations.

• Oversee Human Resources functions by fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment, ensuring effective hiring, training, and succession planning aligned with diversity goals, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal standards.

• Assist in coordinating the procurement of supplies and parts to support the efficient operation of Food & Beverage outlets and fulfill outlet requisitions.

• Assist in reviewing the department’s monthly P&L and budget, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.

• Maintain all personnel records, including schedules, attendance, vacations, counseling notices, and employee performance reports, and/or discipline

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet established deadlines efficiently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Solid understanding of cleaning chemicals and agents, including knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and related safety procedures.

• Skilled in workforce planning, with the ability to establish staffing guidelines that optimize efficiency and control labor costs.

• Capable of performing effectively in fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams, guests, and external partners.
