The Position
Cost & Production AnalystJob Summary
We are looking for a Cost Production Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing monthly costing activities, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, and analyzing production costs. You will also provide insights on plant profitability trends and margins, supporting management decisions with transparent and compliant financial reporting in line with group policies.

Your Responsibilities:
Financial support & reporting for a number of different functional areas within the business as well as analysis, understanding and challenging monthly results.
Preparation of reports/analyses to enable Operations team to control the costs and closing inventory against historical, forecast and budgeted financial data.
Active Contribution/involvement on monthly cost-performance presentations to Operations Team, through providing the first level of commentary to the Hub Controller.
Track profitability by plant and product to ensure accurate pricing.
Calculate and update standard costs / actual unit costs in ERP for inventory valuation.
Responsible for Inventory counts and fixed assets reconciliation with ERP.
Partner with Operations-IT-SSC in order to identify best practices and develop remediation plans and continuous improvement opportunities.
Provide support to Hub Controller with the budget and forecast process, as well as ad-hoc analysis and information.
Provide support to the CAR manager in ad- hoc requests relating to the perimeter.
Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration
At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance role
Proven experience as a cost Accountant would be considered as a plus
Hand-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP S4Hana or equivalent)
Strong IT skills especially in Excel and Google suite packages
Very good knowledge of written and verbal English
Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance teams. Demonstrate good communication skills to convey information.
