Job Title: Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Job Status: Seasonal
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt, Piece-Rate
Department: Athletics
Reports to: Joe Maemone
Job Summary
TKA is a Christ-centered school grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we are looking for an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach who is a follower of Jesus Christ and is dedicated to the school’s Christ-centered mission. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the weight room use & provide training to our student teams.

Essential Job Functions
Regular Activities
- Oversee weight room use and student safety
- Provide training to student-athletes
- Promote team-oriented strength & conditioning
- Assist the Strength & Conditioning Coach with daily operations
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Education in health, fitness, and physical education
- Experience with weight room operations & machines
- Athletics coaching or similar experience leading student-athletes
- Safety training & certification
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in written form
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Ability to learn new computer software systems

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Work will be performed from the campus
- Will move throughout the campus during the day
- May occasionally have to lift up to 45 pounds
- Work is generally performed, Mid August-Early June, Monday-Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- The months listed are approximate, and the annual start and end date will be dictated by the school calendar and the department’s needs.
