Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Lead in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to maintain a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
