The expected salary for this position is $12,000.

The Department of Forest and Conservation Sciences is seeking to hire a part-time sessional lecturer in 24W - Term 2 (January 1 to April 30, 2025).

Course to be taught:

FRST 210 (3 credits)  Forest Plant Biology II

The functional biology of trees and other forest plants in their environment, with an emphasis on gymnosperms

The successful candidate will deliver/supervise laboratory work; coordinate with guest lecturers; supervise and mentor teaching assistants; provide feedback and assess student assignments; participate in FRST 210 instructor team meetings; and hold office hours weekly. All positions are subject to enrolment, funding and will be governed by UBC’s Agreement on Conditions of Appointment for Sessional and Part-time Faculty Members.
