Are you an energetic and results-oriented Sales Manager who wants to move our customers’ performance forward?
Did you know that control valves are the most important part of any process control loop?
The right control valve selection is based on an understanding of the industry, process and application it will be used in. Their role is to ensure accurate, repeatable and reliable long-lasting flow control performance. We at Valmet understand the conditions under which industrial valves must perform, and help our customers select the right valve for the job.
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager responsible for leading the end users and Original Equipment’s Manufacturers market, to strengthen our Flow Control Sales team. The role is based in Madrid, Spain and your geographical scope will cover Spain.
In this position, you are expected to:
- Plan and make use of company resources to quote for Refining and Chemical, Renewable and Gases and Metals and Mining markets, both end users and Original Equipment Manufacturers business when applicable.
- Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers to meet sales target levels.
- Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority.
- Conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
- Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
- Act as continuous improvement and health and safety agent.
Requirements:
- M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering field.
- Experience in similar position
- Experience in Flow Control fields and valves related background will be valued.
- Because we work in a global matrix company you should have demonstrated success from a similar environment and be a strong communicator (written and verbal) not only in Spanish but also in English.
- We place great value on your personal qualities, characterized by a combination of autonomy with a great sense of proactivity and initiative. You are team player, a fluent negotiator, strong problem solver, a quick establisher of credibility and you can manage your time effectively.
- You develop relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, internally and externally.
- The role requires willingness to travel across Spain (50-60% of your working time) and occasionally abroad.
