You will become part of the Offshore Product Market Strategy team and act as the link between the product development team and the commercial team to ensure that we have the best possible solutions for the fast-growing offshore market.
You will be part of a small, highly experienced team that plays a core role in ensuring commercial growth across short, medium, and long-term horizons across the offshore market. This will be done through the definition of sharp market roadmaps, defining and executing key initiatives to secure marketability, and handling the entire strategic product market lifecycle.
Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate the offshore market volume and long-term requirements, collaborating with regional and corporate offshore sales teams

Create market segmentation based on collected customer requirements, develop Market Roadmaps for specific offerings, and identify gaps and opportunities

Gather intelligence and market insights to inform strategic decisions

Collaborate closely with the offshore product strategy team and other stakeholders to align market strategies

Support product development by providing input for optimal product responses and assisting in commercial roll-out

Define the Go-to-Market strategy

Conduct comprehensive market deep dives to optimize Vestas' product offerings, considering market dynamics, competitors, and customer needs

Quantify the value proposition of existing and potential new products for both customers and Vestas, focusing on metrics such as LCOE, IRR, and NPV
Qualification
-
Experience in offshore wind or renewables industry, primarily in a Product Management, Marketing, Value Engineering or similar strategic role

Educational background, including a B.Sc., M.Sc., or MBA, either in Engineering complemented by commercial education or relevant commercial experience or in business or economics combined with technical education or relevant technical experience

Previous experience with delivering results and collaborating with diverse stakeholders within an international, complex organization

Ideally, extensive experience in value capture and value creation strategies

Additional Information
