EquipmentShare delivers technology-driven solutions for construction industry professionals, and we provide a better equipment rental experience, fleet tracking software and hardware security solutions to help contractors work smarter.

Our design team is a remote-first organization (team members are in LA, NY, SEA, DEN), although we do have hubs in both Columbia, MO and Kansas City, MO if you prefer to come into the office. Primary Responsibilities for a Senior Product Designer

  • Work with a cross-functional team to strategize and build compelling user-centric visions, which are also impactful for our business
  • Build concepts, action-plans, and work with stakeholders and translate complex concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design
  • Presenting to and influencing people at various levels within an organization to drive key product innovations
  • Lead by example by translating complex concepts and interactions into coherent design, and taking specific user journeys from concepts through implementation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product design or UX
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms, working with technical/design teams to create user flows and wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating great user experiences with design solutions across various devices
  • Proven experience with rapid, iterative research, design and development processes 
  • Experience presenting to and influencing people at various levels within an organization
  • Product sensibility, with capability to drive key product innovations
  • Proficiency in a variety of design and prototype tools, including sketch, inVision, figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent complex business or technical concepts externally
  • Cross-functional relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering end-to-end solutions for enterprise or cloud platforms
  • High proficiency in Figma
  • Experience in rapid prototyping and user testing with prototypes
  • Experience in Fleet/Driver/Dispatch User interfaces
  • Understanding of proficiency in Delivery Systems or Fleet Management at Scale
