Senior Project Manager

 

 

Senior Project Manager for AVL Test Systems, Inc.  Position duties are coordinating powertrain capital equipment projects from project estimation to contract execution to project completion for automotive industry customers including managing project initialization and planning; performing budget oversight and supporting project accounting requirements; developing project technical, quality and timing milestones; organizing project team and resources; managing sub-suppliers and supply chain needs; evaluating powertrain test cells system architecture and dynamometer, high voltage battery simulator & emissions bench testing equipment; ensuring projects are implemented in compliance with specifications and budget; and providing lean operations improvement recommendations.  Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years’ experience in the job duties as stated.  The position is located in Plymouth, MI with 10% travel to clients throughout the U.S.  Position may require the individual to work at various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.  Send resume to AVL Test Systems, Inc., Attn: Megan Kosch, 47519 Halyard Drive, Plymouth, MI 48170-2438.  Please reference SPM in response.
