Position Overview

The Culinary Distribution Coordinator supports the food service team by working closely with the operations manager, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that department operational needs are met through excellent coordination and communication. This role will have primary support duties for delivery and stocking of local micro-markets.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Delivery and stocking of local micro-markets while following FIFO (First In, First Out) and good food safety standards.
  • Transport items daily between Madison locations while driving a delivery van/truck.
  • Load a delivery van/truck by properly placing and securing items.
  • Tracking and documenting inventory and ensuring par levels are followed.
  • Documenting and reporting engagement of specific food items to ensure our program is meeting customer needs.
  • Responsible for ordering food to maintain par levels at all locations
  • Adaptable to rapid changes in priorities, strong sense of urgency, and able to identify ways to work together to achieve results needed for all requests.
  • Maintain shared filing system to track critical information.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support teams to reach common goals.
  • Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone or by email.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 20% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of Associates Degree.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed. 
  • No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months. 
  • No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months.
  • No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability.
