We are keeping dogs healthy by showing owners how much they should exercise and keep them accountable. We also monitor health patterns like sleep and overall balance of activity versus resting patterns.

Fi is looking for a Backend Engineering Lead! 
In this pivotal role within our organization, you will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and play a crucial part in shaping our technical direction. You thrive on the challenge of transforming concepts into remarkable solutions and are well-versed in a variety of backend technologies, along with an understanding of best architectural practices. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and guide our engineering team in delivering exceptional services and backend systems.
Anticipate engaging in complex engineering challenges on the backend - ranging from data aggregation, to machine learning, and the development of scalable services. You'll be at the forefront of tackling interesting technical problems.
Our development landscape spans all facets of our technology ecosystem, granting you the autonomy to immerse yourself in any area that piques your interest, all while gaining proficiency in new technologies on the go. Our mobile applications are developed natively, and our backend stack aligns with industry standards. Familiarity with our stack is desirable but not mandatory.
As a Software Engineer at heart, you possess a proven track record of delivering outstanding software, seamlessly navigating the journey from initial design to production deployment. Your experience includes leading the development of at least one consumer product from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, specializing in technologies such as AWS, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
