Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Lead – Acute Care/ED

Location: Dayton General Hospital – Acute Care/Emergency Department; Dayton, WA

Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift (6:45pm - 7:15am)

Compensation: $37.00 - $64.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

Shift Differential: $3.00 increase for Lead RN; $7.00 NOC Shift Differential; $2.00 increase for Emergency Department experience

We are seeking a skilled Lead Registered Nurse for Dayton General Hospital to provide exceptional care in the Acute Care and Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, and able to respond effectively in critical situations, all while embracing the unique challenges and rewards of working in a rural community.

  • Shift differentials for Lead, Nights, Weekends, Preceptor, Call Back
  • Two weekends per month required

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State RN license; or active Multi-State License
  • Current ACLS (or willingness to renew within 3 months)
  • PALS, TNCC required for ED (or willingness to renew within 3 months) 
  • BLS certification every 2 years
     

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in the Acute Care and Emergency Department
  • Administer medications and assist with patient admissions.
  • Document patient information in the EHR.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Perform triage and prioritize patient care.
  • Check and maintain equipment and supplies in the ED.
  • Lead or assist in trauma and code situations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned to support department operations.
