Back Market
FranceinternshipVerifiedPosted 21 Apr 2023

About the role

Back Market is the world’s leading refurbished electronics marketplace with a team of 700 people, powering operations in 17 countries (and counting!).
Named one of the World's Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company in 2019 and again in 2021, our mission is simple: empowering people to consume tech sustainably by offering folks a high quality, accessible, and more eco-friendly alternative to buying new electronics. Why? Refurbished tech helps lower our collective environmental impact. We have indeed contributed to avoid the production of more than 1,000,000 tons of CO2e worldwide since our launch in 2014.
Be part of an exciting and growing international adventure that will change the way the world consumes tech.
The APAC team is leading the growth of the Back Market footprint and revenues in APAC, designing expansion strategies across geographies and categories, rolling them out successfully to support our global growth and building a premium customer experience to make refurbished products a real alternative to buying new in APAC. Our team is fast moving, determined, not afraid to fail and iterate, strategic thinkers and hands-on people, who believe we can change the way APAC consumers buy tech products.
Reporting to the Senior Lead Growth Manager, you will be a key member of the APAC development team helping to launch and grow the Australian market. Our goal is to build a website where the customer experience must match (or beat!) buying new products at every stage: easily find and purchase the product, have it delivered quickly and on time, be satisfied with the quality of the product and finally receive seamless after sales service, if required.

  • Create and/or update reports and tools to follow up on projects’ impact and performance
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing and Supply teams to ensure the success of the project.

You’re At The Right Place If:

  • Looking for a 6-month internship
  • English is a no-brainer (fully professional capability). If you’re extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you!
  • Excellent ability to deep-dive data and generate insights
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Strong ability to working both independently and collaboratively with global teams as appropriate to deliver results
