About the role
Expatrio is an ambitious Berlin-based start-up in the field of Fintech and Edtech and currently has a vacancy for the position as:
Working Student Finance & Controlling (f/m/x)
Working Student Finance & Controlling (f/m/x)
- Assist with preparation of month- and year end closing activities
- Support budget planning, forecasting and variance analysis
- Prepare adhoc and weekly/monthly recurring reports
- Run data analysis to support decision-making processes
- Support invoice process automation and documentation
- Calculate and review continuously sales and partner commissions
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting basics
- Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable with other MS Office tools
- Experience with Datev or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Very good communication skills in English; German is a plus
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
- Hybrid working style: You are welcome to work in a hybrid model (either from home or our office in the heart of Berlin, close to the U Rosenthaler Platz).
