As a system administrator on our team, you’ll maintain responsibility for Windows servers, operating systems software, and its successful integration with the hardware and applications software of the major computing systems across the organization. You'll conduct installation and maintenance of Windows-based operating configurations on all organization Windows servers and desktops and troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network. You will provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment and serve as the technical reference on engineering review boards, considering all additions to or changes to the operating environment, including all changes or additions to the standard configuration within the organization. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

You Have: 

• Experience with operating systems, organization operating environment, and network requirements

• Experience with project management techniques for planning and executing projects

• Experience with researching the latest technological developments for operating systems to identify impact on organization operating systems and anticipate changes

• Experience working with system developers to elicit requirements and engage in joint project planning

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Physical Science, Engineering, or Mathematics and 4+ years of experience as a systems administrator in Windows environments, or 8+ years of experience as a systems administrator in Windows environments in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: 

• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
