The UK Life Actuarial Consolidation Team provides a life business overview for key stakeholders, focused on SII/IFRS Balance Sheet position as well as Profit/Loss analysis. The team is accountable for challenge and review of disclosures from other teams to build a consistent and transparent message for the senior management. The team concentrates on actuarial analyses rather than pure actuarial production.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing reports to senior managers and executives explaining a current balance sheet position as well as a profit/loss in a period for consolidated Aviva UK Life business unit.

  • Validating and consolidating results provided by sub-teams responsible for, among others, annuities, with-profit business, non with-profit business, new business and assets

  • Influencing key stakeholders to make decisions which fortify balance sheet position and improve profit in the future.

  • Implementing new features and improving automation of quarterly and monthly reporting cycle.

What we’re looking for?

  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in actuarial reporting activities for life business

  • Ability to express concisely and transparently technical concepts to senior management and non-expert audience

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Boldness to cooperate with the senior management of Aviva UK Life

  • Knowledge about UK life products as well as good understanding of Solvency II/IFRS will be considered as an additional advantage
