Sr. Engineer

Designs Company water systems; prepares cost estimates, engineering specifications, work authorizations and contracts; checks engineering drawings for accuracy of design and dimensions; conducts tests of materials and equipment; makes field surveys; works with Division Managers, developers and contractors to insure that all water system construction conforms to Company specifications; provides technical assistance and guidance to Division Managers; performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Must be a college graduate with a B.S. degree in engineering and have knowledge of surveying techniques.

EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of five years' experience in water utility system design at a professional level. Must be proficient in all phases of engineering analysis and design; be able to interpret and prepare drawings, specifications, contract documents; effectively represent the Company with customers, government agencies, suppliers and contractors.

EQUIPMENT USED: Personal computer. Company vehicle.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to inspect all construction sites and water system facilities.

PROFESSIONAL OR OTHER CERTIFICATION OR LICENSING: Must have a valid, appropriate Arizona driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be a Registered Arizona Professional Engineer.
