The Warehouse Associate I will be supporting both Production and Warehouse Departments with daily activities and workflows. This Warehouse Associate I will also be required to interface with other internal customers.

As our Warehouse Associate I, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Preparing daily shipping/packaging documents, striving for 100% completeness and accuracy
- Acting as liaison with key freight carriers
- Handling shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Entering and transacting data for inbound materials
- Auditing shipping invoices (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
- Processing inbound customer RMAs
- Executing logistics and warehouse activities
- Receiving direct and indirect inbound materials from vendors, customers, and other warehouses accurately and promptly using available databases and systems
- Verifying quantity and description of received materials against the packing list
- Examining incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and reporting discrepancies
- Placing materials onto shelves, racks, or other designated storage areas accurately
- Pulling, staging, and releasing materials and assemblies to the production team
- Maintaining warehouse area and equipment on a regular basis
- Performing sub-assembly tasks
- Performing final assembly packing
- Assisting with outbound shipments
- Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
Your Experience and Background include:
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
- Familiar with ISO9000:2015 environment
- Ability to read and comprehend work orders.
- Ability to perform some basic soldering of electrical components.
- Ability to use the pneumatic tooling.
- Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform simple task utilizing the manufacturing work instructions.
- Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally.
- Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend English language.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and plan your workload effectively.
- Ability to stand and walk for an extended time.
