Job Summary
We are seeking a self-starter – someone who is ready to drive media strategy across eRetailers, marketplaces and retail media. The ever-changing eCommerce landscape is evolving at a pace that demands that you must possess adaptability, quick-thinking, and a thirst for rapid-fire learning. Horizon Commerce is at the forefront of defining what (and how) our clients need to succeed and innovate across all facets of online commerce, and this individual will be instrumental in supporting that mission.
The Senior Director, Commerce Media will report into the VP, Commerce Media, and will lead the day-to-day with clients. This individual will work closely with cross-functional Horizon Media and Horizon Commerce teams and should be comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively while simultaneously delivering best-in-class work in media strategy and data analytics.

You will connect and have direct access with the client’s sales teams. You will need a strong business acumen and superior client service skills. You will also need to and enjoy understanding how to create & covert demand, along with winning the sales through innovative strategies and diving into the data.
What You’ll Do
Digital Media Strategy – 80%
Be the client day-to-day lead on the business leveraging your strong account management capabilities to support both sales and marketing clients
Craft eCommerce media strategy and retail media plans
Leverage Horizon Media’s suite of planning, evaluation and buying tools for application/analysis into competitive landscape, target digital consumption support, plan development and reporting
Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals
Create media specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions
Lead brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development with the intention of bringing great ideas to life
Oversee a large team supporting Associate Directors, Managers, Specialists and Assistant roles – have prior managerial skills and have overseen a team of at least 3-5+ people before
Reporting & Analysis - 20%
Monitor and report on media campaigns on an ongoing basis, providing an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams, media partners and the client
