About the Role

The Walt Disney World (WDW) Communications & Public Affairs team is responsible for shaping and elevating the reputation of The Most Magical Place on Earth through a mix of internal and external communication, media relations, issues and crisis management, content creation, and more. From shining a spotlight on our Cast Members and community to supporting day-to-day media inquiries and issues to dreaming up new ways to tell stories that support our business, our team works collaboratively with other teams and lines of business across WDW to share and protect the magic.

As a WDW Communications Intern, you’ll contribute to creative and strategic communication and content creation that reaches approximately 80,000 Cast Members across WDW as well as our Central Florida community, media, and Guests. This internship opportunity is a great way to get experience working with and contributing to a variety of internal and external channels.

The intern will report to the Manager of Communications.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from June 2026 through January 2027.

  • Design clever visuals that support our communication strategies across different mediums, including infographics, executive presentations, digital slides, and the Tell-A-Cast, a biweekly Cast Member pocket guide featuring current news and theme park information.
  • Get in on the action by participating in photo and video shoots and media interviews with reporters covering stories at WDW.
  • Collaborate with the WDW Communications team to support day-to-day priorities, including media monitoring and analysis, and distribution of communication.
  • Learn new skills and get out of your comfort zone.
  • Bring a passion and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by inviting diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Have those “pinch me” moments when you walk down Main Street, U.S.A., before park opening or World Showcase after park close, and realize you’re working at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Please Apply If You Are/Have
