Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Shipfitters for projects located in Paducah, KY.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $24/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:         

• Repair work on towboats and river barges 
• New construction
• Working with stainless steel and carbon 
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings 

 

Requirements

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings 
• Ability to layout from blueprints and modules 
• Must be able to pass a fit test 
• Must have all proper PPE
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
