RSC2 is currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team in APG, MD! 


Responsibilities include: 

  • Lead Systems Engineer for the Multi Domain Sensing System (MDSS) Family of Programs under the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S), Project Director Sensors Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI). 
  • Direct involvement in the design, integration, and testing of advanced medium and high altitude aerial intelligence sensing platforms.
  • Provide technical direction for Systems Engineering processes, architecture design, and sensor systems integration, ensuring compliance with Army requirements and standards.
  • Recognized as a Systems Engineering technical authority, providing expertise and guidance to the PD SAI leadership.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into system requirement specifications and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for detailed requirements development. 
  • Lead the development of key Systems Engineering artifacts, including Abbreviated Capabilities Documents (A-CDD) and program CONOPS/vignettes. 
  • Communicate program activities and status to senior leadership and stakeholders through executive briefings. 
  • Assess technology feasibility and requirements against program objectives and Army needs, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary. 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance 
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of proven job performance history in Systems Engineering and Program Management, with experience in multimillion-dollar contracts. 
  • Expertise in System Engineering processes, particularly in military air and ground-based programs. 
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated at senior Army leadership levels. 
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to provide technical direction and guidance. 
  • Experience in proposal development and business maintenance preferred. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing priorities.
