About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cinematic Music Composer to join our client for an ongoing personal project in Miami, Florida. This is an on-site opportunity that requires the composer to be physically present in Miami for the duration of the project, which is expected to last more than a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an original and compelling cinematic soundtrack that enhances the viewer's experience and seamlessly complements the project's narrative.

Responsibilities:

• Compose original music scores and soundtracks for the project, capturing the desired emotional tone and mood.
• Collaborate closely with the director and creative team to understand the project's vision and narrative.
• Ensure that the music aligns with and supports the storytelling and visuals.
• Record and produce high-quality musical tracks, utilizing a variety of instruments and techniques.
• Work within the project's time constraints and meet deadlines for music delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate with musicians, sound engineers, and other personnel involved in the music production process.
• Attend meetings and provide creative input during the project's development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cinematic Music Composer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and captivating scores.
• Expertise in composing for various genres and styles, including orchestral, electronic, and hybrid compositions.
• Proficiency in music composition software (e.g., Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc.) and virtual instruments.
• Excellent understanding of music theory, harmony, and orchestration.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
• Flexibility to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.
• Availability to work on-site in Miami, Florida, for the duration of the project (more than a week).
