The challenges faced every day in extending and improving the Telefonica user experience require vast knowledge in how to produce highly maintainable and extensible object-oriented code. Our engineers must feel the need to build a product that works fast and flawlessly, be passionate about eliminating any problems as soon as they are discovered, and take pride in doing so.</p> <p> </p> <p>MISSION</p> <p>Our mission is to provide Telefonica customers with the best tools for managing their Wi-fi network.</p> <p> </p> <p>MAIN DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain backend services written in Kotkin.</li> <li>High-quality design of backend services for maintainability, robustness and scalability.</li> <li>Execution and analysis of performance tests.</li> <li>Cooperate with product in User Stories refinement and analysis of better technical solution to implement them.</li> <li>Cooperate with tech lead in defining paths for technical platform evolution.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>EDUCATION REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineer, etc.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>SPECIFIC SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture (preferably Kotlin, other OOO languages are acceptable).</li> <li>Experience deploying backend services in a real production environments.</li> <li>Strong will to adhere to best practices in OO development and a need to leave well-structured code in your tracks.</li> <li>Knowledge of no-SQL storages (Mongo) and other approaches to data management.</li> <li>Experience in APIs definition, implementation and integration.</li> <li>Web development, javascript and typescript experience is a plus.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Kotlin, Spring</li> <li>Mongo DB</li> <li>Unit testing</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Nice to have:</p> <ul> <li>Relational databases</li> <li>Web development</li> <li>Javascript, typescript</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>LANGUAGES</p> <ul> <li>English (professional competence)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The position could be developed from any location in Spain.</p> <p> </p> <p><em>#UnidadesGlobales #CDO</em></p> <p> </p> <p>If you join Telefónica</p> <p>You join almost 100 years of history, you join a team of 106 nationalities present in more tan 35 countries.
