Senior Maintenance Engineer

Summary:

This Position oversees the reliability, and efficiency of  machinery and facility equipment; develops proactive maintenance strategies, leads technical troubleshooting, manages repairs to minimize downtime, ensures regulatory compliance, and supervises  contractors to enhance operational efficiency.  

 

 

Essential Functions:

• Oversees contractors to ensure safety and accuracy of work
• Coordinates the identification and procurement of new equipment. Obtains specifications and design information of new equipment
• Identifies and implements options for equipment retrofits and repairs
• Collaborates with cross functional teams for process improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with manufacturing and operations equipment
• Project management/PMP certification highly preferred 
• Change Management experience
• Equipment design and rebuild experience
• Solidworks/Autocad
• CapEx Management experience
