Combination of 12 and 8 hour shifts. Shift times are afternoon/evenings ranging from 12pm or 4pm until 12am. Every third weekend rotation. Holiday rotation required as well.
Pay Range
$50.05 - $75.10Schedule:
- Primary shifts: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- Holiday rotation required
About the Role
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join our virtual urgent care team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing primarily on acute, episodic urgent care complaints in a telehealth setting. This position emphasizes continuity of care, patient-centered practice, and clinical excellence.
Service Line Highlights
- 24/7/365 coverage
- Urgent care video visits averaging approximately 3 per hour
- Collaborative team consisting primarily of APPs with supervising physicians
- Currently servicing North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Virginia
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and follow-up medical histories, physical exams via telehealth.
- Document findings, care plans, and interventions in the electronic health record (Epic).
- Prescribe and administer medications in compliance with state regulations.
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and act as a patient advocate.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to policy development.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to adapt to stressful situations and maintain focus during extended shifts (up to 12 hours).
- Hybrid schedule includes mixed rotation with weekend coverage every 3rd weekend as well as holiday rotation.
