Senior AV CAD Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Senior AV CAD Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing advanced AV and video collaboration systems. You will be involved in the entire technology lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring high-quality execution and seamless integration across various projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create detailed AV system designs using CAD software.
• Manage CAD drafting projects from inception to completion.
• Lead and develop members of AV CAD team.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
• Maintain and update CAD drawings and documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on AV/VC technology solutions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software for creating system schematics and layouts.
• Strong understanding of AV/VC system architecture, signal flow, and integration requirements.
• Experience with technical documentation, design specifications, and compliance standards within the AV industry.
• Ability to interpret and create detailed blueprints, technical diagrams, and installation guides.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and evolving technology trends.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Pay Range$90,000—$100,000 USD
