Front End Software Engineer

The Anduril Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to architect our next level of integration of into Lattice OS; Anduril’s AI-powered operating system. You will be responsible for designing command, control, and visualization interfaces for the Anduril Imaging suite of infrared sensors. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Design, build, and deploy a real-time interface for displaying and interacting with a 360 degree panoramic-based infrared imaging system, as well as controlling the cameras configuration and health monitoring
• Fetch and manage large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering in a low-friction user experience
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic
• Work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience working on frontend applications, especially data-intensive or map-based systems
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• An ability to communicate and document work clearly and concisely
• Team-player, self-motivated, driven, organized
• Strong background in React and Javascript
• Experience with Git
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A familiarity with Python can be leveraged for other work on the team
• Understanding of Linux would accelerate performance on the team
• Familiarity with development in offline environments
• An understanding of layer 4 (TCP/UDP IP) networking
• Ability to travel up to 10%
