Our completions team focuses on the materials for the interior of our aircraft, such as electronics and soft goods, for example. On average the Buyer will work with about 10 suppliers. As a new hire, the buyer will start purchasing basic custom off-the-shelf parts and then move into more specialized areas. Buyers work in pod structure for mentorship and training. </span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri"><span style="color:#32363a">&nbsp;</span></span></span></p>

About the Role

The Procurement Specialist selected for  this role will be purchasing materials for our completions team. Our completions team focuses on the materials for the interior of our aircraft, such as electronics and soft goods, for example. Purchasing experience is needed to be successufl in this environment. 

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related curriculum required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years purchasing or related experience. Masters degree may offset two (2) years of the experience requirement.

Position Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, develops and implements cost-effective and efficient procedures to purchase sophisticated commodities, subsystems, major components and/or assemblies, major service and support subsystems, and major components of these subsystems, as appropriate in accordance with company policies and procedures.
