About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR business partner to align our HR initiatives and functions with the business objectives of our Sales and Marketing teams. Duties for the HR business partner will include aligning staff to business objectives, designing succession plans, executive coaching, maintaining staff relations, managing people analytics, updating policies and practices, and overseeing employee engagement initiatives. 

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and strong organizational skills. The noteworthy HR business partner should improve HR initiatives, enhance staff morale, enhance relations between staff and employers, contribute to attaining business goals, promote good HR practices, and attract talented recruits.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Regularly engages with heads of departments and assigned executives.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a bachelor degree or at least 5-10 years of progressive experience in a similar role.  Candidate must also be located in the USA in the eastern time zone.

Strong project management skills for team based projects. Proven experience planning and leveraging current and emerging technologies for learning, including HRIS systems. Strong background in technology, organization development, and/or knowledge management. Ability to interact with all levels of staff. Attention to detail and excellent organization skills. Excellent written and verbal English communication required; multi-linguist preferred. P&L management experience preferred.
