The Seed Treatment - Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for the seed treatment relationships for regional accounts and driving seed treatment demand in the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT). As a RAM, you will be expected to be the trusted advisor for seed treatment and build both business plans and momentum for the Seed Treatment portfolio growth. You will be responsible for supporting the relationship at targeted BASF distributors, local on-seed application, and retailers. You will need to be able to travel 50% in this role.
As a Seed Treatment Regional Account Manager, You Create Chemistry By...
- Collaborating with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and the Leadership Team to contribute to the success of the BASF Seed Treatment division and the US Crop field sales team.
- Establishing oneself as an integral part of the greater BASF team within the region by working closely with Strategic Account Managers, District Managers, Business Representatives, Technical Service Representatives, Agronomic Solutions Advisors, Product Managers, and RAM colleagues.
- Actively driving the BASF seed treatment business in the region to achieve regional objectives.
- Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Working closely with key BASF stakeholders to identify market trends and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and implement sales and marketing plans to achieve business goals.
If you have...
- Education in Science (such as Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology), Business, or related field (Bachelors Degree or MSc/MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in field sales, account management, marketing, or business development.
- Strong understanding of the seed treatment market, crop protection channel, specifically retailers, and manufacturer/seed company business.
- Proven track record of relationship building, customer focus, and success selling to seed companies, seed houses, and/or CP Distribution markets.
- Ability to initiate communication, collaborate, and achieve with others as part of a field sales or marketing team.
- Demonstrated success in budget management in a sales environment and ability to realize growth opportunities.

Pay Transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $113,120 - $155,540. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
