Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Logistician to join our team at Chesapeake, VA . In this role, you will join a team that identifies preventative maintenance practices that will eliminate or delay component / system failure and build a stronger US Navy.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform technically accurate research using construction drawings, logistics documents, technical manuals, and vendors to accurately perform equipment maintenance.
• Perform parts research and part number cross referencing in all facets of the federal stock system to identify repair parts and cost.
• Ability to identify equipment and tools required to perform the maintenance.
• Interfacing with customer personnel, vendors, and military personnel.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the military, commercial and recreational marine industry in boats under 200 feet.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
• Current Secretsecurity clearance.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have or obtain a U.S. Passport within 90 days of being hired.

Other Skills Preferred: 

• Ability to write comprehensive maintenance procedures.
