JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for month-end close, fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP and Excel skills, and experience working in a multi-entity or global organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Month-End Close:
- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, amortization, and depreciation
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze variances and provide explanations to management
- Fixed Assets & Depreciation:
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger, record acquisitions/disposals, and monitor CIP
- Calculate and record depreciation in accordance with company policy and GAAP
- Support fixed asset audits
- Intercompany Accounting:
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between entities
- Ensure transactions are properly eliminated in consolidation
- Coordinate with global finance teams to maintain alignment on intercompany balances
- Reconciliations & Reporting:
- Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts including bank, prepaid, accrued liabilities, and intercompany accounts
- Prepare supporting schedules for external audits and internal reviews
- Assist with regulatory and tax filings
- Systems & Process Improvement:
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and present data
- Operate efficiently within ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) to maintain accurate financial records
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset management
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Epicor Preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
