Compensation
$83,280 – $99,000 annually

The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. What you’ll do
Identify, process, cleanse, and verify internal and external data sources for reporting, dashboard development, and analysis.
Maintain and organize databases, ensuring accuracy by reconciling data across multiple sources.
Extend company data with third-party sources as needed, ensuring data integrity for decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to support data-driven decisions across divisions.
Provide actionable insights and analysis for Medical, Provider, and Government Affairs divisions, addressing strategic questions.
Track and report performance metrics, handle ad-hoc analytics requests, and automate reporting processes.
Analyze and resolve issues related to provider practices, such as over/underutilization and aberrant billing, through data analysis.
Manage file transfers between BCBSKS and external entities, including BCBSA, KDHE, and vendors.
Utilize SQL, Excel, Python, R, Tableau, and SPSS for analyzing internal and external healthcare data.
Implement automated data processes to enhance efficiency.
Participate in the development of policies and procedures for medical, reimbursement, and administrative matters.
Monitor healthcare trends to assess impacts on medical management activities and policies.
Participate in corporate projects and committees related to analytics systems and initiatives.
Maintain expertise in analytics software and seek opportunities to improve data sources and methods.
Stay informed on industry best practices and trends in health analytics.
Lead the corporate Ad Hoc Client Committee and represent Medical Affairs in cross-functional teams.
Serve as a technical resource for staff on data systems, analytics methodologies, and contract policies.
