We are looking for a passionate Talent & Development Specialist who will support the Talent & Development team, assuming key responsibilities in Talent Development & Training, more specifically:
- Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
- Design, develop, update, and deliver professional quality presentations and training materials to include classroom training, workbooks, webinars, videos, and e-Learnings;
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers;
- Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials;
- Develops and manages sessions/ surveys to identify training needs and opportunities for performance improvement;
- Develop and maintain training tracking including participation, costs, etc;
- Develops unique training programs to fulfill employees' specific needs to maintain or improve job skills;
- Managing the LMS platform;
- Assesses training materials prepared by instructors;
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback;
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development;
- Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses;
- Recommending actions for using HR data and survey outcomes to identify and build action plans to improve engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Training, and Development, or a related field is required., an MSc would be an asset;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in business or financial services, technology, or consulting;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong presentation skills;
- Fluent in English (verbal and written);
- Tech savvy;
