As an LOB Risk Specialist, you will be within PNC's Risk, Change, Experience & Strategy (RCES) team, supporting the First Line of Defense (1LOD) Policy & Risk Governance team.

As an LOB Risk Specialist, you will support management activities for the development, renewal and changes of Policy and procedure documents within the Marketing Communications (MarCom) business. In addition to the job description below, you will also be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Provide clear communication around expectations, timelines and roles and responsibilities for working group partners, applying consistent established approaches.
- Ensure movement of documents through governance
- Manage internal team documents and support team in other business areas as needed.
- Ensure documents remain up to date and reflective of the team’s environment. This includes identification of any downstream impacts from business changes or the Enterprise Framework
- Document and maintain Policy and Risk Procedure processes, tracking, and partnerships to provide clarity for the organization through various tools including desktops, power point presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
- Support initiatives to mature and enhance program; assist in the continuous evaluation, identification and implementation of opportunities.

Critical Skills to Succeed in Role:
- Comfortable leading in group settings, collaborating with partners at varying levels, business functions and lines of defense
- Ability to push deliverables forward and gain understanding of processes to provide consultation, guidance and recommendations to partners
- Must be very detailed, organized and timeline oriented with the ability to manage and adjust to change.
- Goal focused with a willingness to assist where needed to achieve deliverables
- Strong business writing skills, understanding of SharePoint, and PowerPoint, Excel, Word Microsoft applications
- Understanding of the Marketing/MarCom business and Policy and Procedure management environment are a plus

This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Job Description

  • Assists in the execution of the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Under supervision, enables line of business adherence with risk programs.
  • Assists in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations.
  • Executes the risk management program within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). Participates in the consultation to execute the program components.
  • Works to develop risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
  • Participates in risk initiatives, business as usual activities, ad hoc requests, and identifies risk exposures.
