We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our Fidelity Go customer experience technology teams. In this role, you will support various aspects of our testing processes, including automation testing, CI / CD build-out and analysis. You will collaborate with developers, analysts and other quality assurance engineers to ensure the highest product quality.

 The Expertise You Have

• Expert in designing and implementing robust testing strategies and frameworks for API, Web, and native mobile applications, with deep expertise in end-to-end validation
• Advanced skills in Rest Assured, Python, XCUITest, Kotlin, Cypress, and Playwright
• Proficient in leveraging Jenkins, Docker, GitHub, and Kubernetes to support shift-left testing, continuous integration and delivery
• Hands on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience or equivalent cloud environments
• Active in Agile teams with experience in user story refinement, in sprint automation development. and BDD (Gherkin familiarity).
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices for building and testing accessible experiences across Web and Mobile platforms
• Participation in production release deployment verification on a regular cadence to ensure high quality releases
• Experienced in mentoring and guiding QA and engineering teams, fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience through rigorous testing and continuous feedback loops
• Strong foundation in designing scalable test automation frameworks
• Proactively adapt emerging technologies and integrate them into QA practices to enhance efficiency and test coverage
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive outcomes and thrive in a fast paced, high demand environment
• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years with a master’s degree in computer science or related field

The Team

The Engineering Excellence (EE) chapter resides in the Personal Investment (PI) business unit of Fidelity Investments. The chapter consists of over 175 multi-stacked engineers with a passion around customer experience and with the engineering tool set to seek challenges including: Automated testing, performance testing, chaos testing, application cloud migration and management, CI / CD implementation, security testing and application development. The chapter’s support spans across all of PI and provides domain specialists to squads who develop products with the highest customer quality,

security, stability, and experience. This role will directly support the FidGo technology teams within PI.The supported applications include but are not limited to web/mobile based applications, API based applications, and cloud-based solutions.
