Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to lead and facilitate the Agile processes within our Dataspace project. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a cross-functional Scrum team consisting of backend developers, frontend developers, testers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully applying Scrum principles in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong understanding of Dataspace technologies. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Agile Facilitation: Act as a servant-leader, facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the Dataspace project team. 
  • Team Empowerment: Foster a collaborative and self-organizing culture within the Scrum team, ensuring that team members are empowered and motivated to deliver high-quality work. 
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the progress of the Scrum team, ensuring a smooth and efficient development process for backend, frontend, and other team members. 
  • Backlog Management: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and Dataspace requirements. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by encouraging the team to reflect on their processes and outcomes, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and transparent communication within the team and with external stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is well-informed about project progress and impediments. 
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration between backend developers, frontend developers, testers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to Dataspace project development. 
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key Agile metrics, providing visibility into team performance and project progress. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field. 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification. 
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments, preferably in Dataspace projects. 
  • Familiarity with backend and frontend development processes, as well as experience working with testers and other stakeholders. 
  • Strong understanding of Dataspace technologies and their integration into Agile projects. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. 
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
