Delivery Driver - Class B

Description

 As a delivery driver you will deliver high quality flat glass products while also serving as the face of Hartung Glass Industries for our customers. Delivering involves lifting and moving product on and off of the truck with or without the assistance of others. It will be your responsibility to verify the product is secured to the truck properly before you leave the yard and after each delivery. You will be asked to get paperwork signed by customers and returned to the office for processing. We ask that you drive our trucks in a safe and responsible manner at all times while obeying the rules of the road. 

We look for individuals who are:

· Customer focused

· Detail oriented

· Current valid drivers license and able to obtain a DOT medical card

· Dedicated to safety, including pre/post trip inspections

· Maintain acceptable MVR

· Able to lift 75lbs throughout their shift

· Have excellent attendance and work ethic

· Flexible to needs of the business

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely deliver product to customers in a timely manner

Complete paperwork correctly (shippers/return slips)

Obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery

Log in patterns and returned items from customers as needed

Load and unload product from truck

Secure product safely on truck

Maintains cleanliness on inside of truck

Pre & post trip inspections on vehicle

Maintain vehicle mileage log

Other duties may be assigned
