Position Summary
We currently have an opportunity available for a Quality and Process Engineering intern with a Manufacturing background or interest. In this position you’ll work with the engineering design teams, remote production teams, as well as other departments to develop effective processes, quality procedures, documentation, and continuous improvement strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Review current quality and process procedures and propose documentation improvements
- Help design documentation and processes for optimum production line flow to improve output on existing production lines, applying LEAN manufacturing principles
- Review current procedures for accuracy and work with manufacturing to identify, analyze, and help implement enhancements to workflows and products.
- Assist in implementing LEAN principles

Required
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Industrial Technology
- Strong documentation skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office, databases, and statistical computer programs
Preferred
- Familiarity working in a manufacturing company environment
- Preferred studies or background in applying LEAN practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
