And through diversity, we have harnessed the power of people while also understanding and embracing the importance of humanities.<strong>Our People</strong>At IE we are</p> <ul> <li>People-driven</li> <li>Change Builders</li> <li>Autonomy Enthusiasts</li> <li>Communication Enthusiasts</li> <li>Knowledge Champions</li> </ul> <p><strong>We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.</strong></p> <p> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Your role as Senior Associate Director will involve:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Employer Relations &amp; Business Development:</strong> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><p>Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to attract top-tier consulting firms to IE University. </p></li> </ul> <ul> <li><p>Manage and expand a portfolio of employer partners through regular engagement and relationship-building. </p></li> </ul> <ul> <li>Leverage alumni networks and faculty expertise to cultivate connections with leading consulting firms. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Represent IE University nationally and internationally at industry events and conferences (15% to 20% travel required). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Partner with the marketing team to create compelling communication and marketing plans for recruiting events. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop increasing levels of knowledge about consulting industry trends, corporate strategy and recruitment expectations of core clients by conducting ongoing research and engagement with the company representatives and alumni to ensure students have current information about specific job markets. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Student Career Preparation:</strong> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate sector-specific training and events, including case interview workshops, mock interviews, and information sessions tailored for consulting careers for MBA students interested in consulting careers. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Consulting Club to organize networking events with professionals. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Offer personalized career coaching and case interview preparation, particularly for MBA students. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop and promote career resources and educational materials relevant to the consulting sector. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Monitor and report on employment data and consulting placement statistics. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>To thrive in this role, you should have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree, MBA preferred.</li> <li>Minimum 4 years of experience in the consulting sector, preferably with a top-tier firm.</li> <li>Strong understanding of the consulting industry landscape and recruiting practices.</li> <li>Bilingual (English and Spanish) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Experience coaching and mentoring students, with a focus on case interview preparation.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.</li> <li>Ability to travel regularly and work occasional evenings and weekends.</li> <li>Experience building and managing external business relationships.</li> <li>Global mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in business development or account management within the consulting sector.</li> <li>Deep understanding of case interview m
